Who Is Alex Consani? Meet the Trans Supermodel Who Just Walked Her Third Victoria's Secret Show

If you watched the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Sunday and thought, "Wait, who is that?", let us introduce you to one of fashion's most fun people. Alex Consani is back on the VS runway, and honestly, she has been on a history-making streak for years.

Her third straight Victoria's Secret show

Consani walked the 2026 show at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on October 18, Harper's Bazaar reports. Her first look was all baby pink, finished with a puffy bubblegum cape that turned light green as it hit the runway. Her second was a lacy black number with feathery golden wings, according to Bazaar.

It was her third Victoria's Secret show in a row, after her debut in 2024 and a return in 2025, PinkNews reports. WWD's runway gallery shows her on the runway at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City.

The famous fans cheering her on

When Consani shared photos from the day on Instagram, the comments turned into a celebrity cheer squad, PinkNews reports. Laverne Cox wrote, "Stunning superstar! Supermodel! Angel!" Hailey Bieber commented, "Gagged," and Rachel Zegler added, "My girlll." Even the official Victoria's Secret account chimed in with "Our angel."

She started modelling at 12

The California native started modelling in 2015 with Slay Model Management, a Los Angeles agency that represented only trans models, according to PinkNews. She was just 12, which PinkNews says made her the world's youngest transgender model at the time.

She signed with IMG Models in 2019, NBC News and ABC News report. After moving to New York at 18, she made her runway debut for Tom Ford in 2021, PinkNews says. ABC News lists Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Mugler and Stella McCartney among the houses she has walked for since.

TikTok made her a household name

Consani first rose to fame with witty TikTok videos during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, NBC News reports. PinkNews says fans fell in love with her "kooky personality and comedy," and ABC News reported in 2024 that she had nearly 4 million TikTok followers. She has also appeared in music videos for Charli XCX and Doja Cat, PinkNews notes.

History at the Fashion Awards

On December 2, 2024, Consani was named Model of the Year at the British Fashion Council's Fashion Awards at London's Royal Albert Hall. She was the first openly transgender person to win it, NBC News reports. "I'm the first trans woman to win this award!" she told the crowd, according to NBC News, before thanking "the Black trans women who really fought for the space I'm in today."

CNN noted that the award came after a string of big runway appearances for Chanel, Stella McCartney and Victoria's Secret. Two months earlier, on October 15, 2024, she and Valentina Sampaio had become the first transgender women to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, according to Harper's Bazaar.

Met Gala host committee

In May 2026, Consani became the first trans woman to serve on the Met Gala host committee, LGBTQ Nation reports. "I'm the first trans woman to host the Met, so this is a really big moment for me," she told Vogue, as quoted by LGBTQ Nation. She arrived in a white Gucci gown, then switched it up with a black feathered train, LGBTQ Nation says. "The best way to describe it is white swan to black swan," she said.
