Alex Monette Consani was born on July 23, 2003, in Petaluma, California, according to Wikipedia. Her mother works in water conservation and her father works with Guide Dogs for the Blind.
She began modeling in early 2015 with Slay Model Management, a Los Angeles agency made up entirely of transgender models, and at 12 she was the youngest trans model in the world at the time. Consani signed with IMG Models in August 2019, at 16, and moved to New York at 18. During the pandemic in 2020 she started posting absurdist, Gen Z comedy videos on TikTok, and by 2024 she had more than three million followers.
In 2024 she became the first transgender model to win Model of the Year at the Fashion Awards, and, with Valentina Sampaio, the first trans models to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
