Editorial Policy
House of Grey News, owned and published by Grey Media Production LLC, covers celebrity news in an upbeat, excited tabloid voice. The voice is playful. The standards behind it are not.
Sourcing and attribution
- Every story is based on published reporting from established outlets, official statements, or a celebrity's own verified social media posts.
- Each story names its sources in the text and lists them, with links, in a Sources box at the end.
- When another outlet cites an anonymous source, we say that clearly and attribute the claim to that outlet. We never present anonymous claims as confirmed fact.
- We do not invent quotes, figures, dates or events. Quotes appear exactly as reported by the linked source.
Tone
- We write with admiration for the people we cover. We hype, we celebrate, and we get excited.
- We do not mock anyone's appearance, health, body, age or family, and we do not use crude language.
- Health, legal and personal matters are reported only as far as the person involved, or credible reporting, has made them public.
Images
- We use only images released under Creative Commons or similar open licenses (most often from Wikimedia Commons), credited with the photographer's name, the license and a link to the original file, or official embeds from a celebrity's own social accounts.
- Our story cards combine those credited photos with headline text. When a source photo is licensed CC BY-SA, our adapted card is shared under the same license.
- We do not use paparazzi photos, agency photos or images copied from other websites.
Content standards
House of Grey is a general-audience site. We do not publish nudity or sexual content, and we do not run adult advertising.
Updates and corrections
When a story develops, we update it and change the "Updated" time. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. See our Corrections policy.
