Lights, camera, LISA! Her next era is days away, and it's straight out of the movies.

LISA, the BLACKPINK superstar whose full name is Lalisa Manobal, releases her six-track EP Press Play on Friday, Oct. 23, through LLOUD and RCA Records, InMusic reports. Its second single, "Tarantino," is a tribute to director Quentin Tarantino and drops the same day as the rest of the EP, according to Billboard.

Here's everything we know before you hit play.

LLOUD on X: "LISA's EP PRESS PLAY. Out Oct 23. TRACK LIST 🎞️"

The Press Play tracklist

LISA's label, LLOUD, revealed the full tracklist on X: "SaWaDiKa," "V12," "Cobra," "Tarantino," "Cut U Off" and "Sweat." That makes "Tarantino" track four, a detail that matters more than you'd think (keep reading).

The project follows her 2025 debut solo album, Alter Ego, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, InMusic notes. And the lead single already did its job: "SaWaDiKa," inspired by the Thai greeting, arrived Sept. 4, and its Bangkok-shot music video, directed by Joseph Kahn, pulled in about 70.8 million views in its first 24 hours, per InMusic. Billboard reports the song debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 23 on the Billboard Global 200.

"Tarantino" is coming in hot

LISA announced "Tarantino" on Wednesday, Oct. 14, and shared the single's artwork, a circular photo of her hiding her face behind a red envelope, Billboard reports. On TikTok she paired the cover art with a short snippet of the track, which Billboard describes as her "signature swagger over pounding percussion."

LLOUD on X: "Tarantino. Out Oct 23."

Hypebeast says the preview showed off the song's "cinematic direction," and Complex confirms that "Tarantino" and the rest of Press Play, including "SaWaDiKa," are out Oct. 23. LLOUD has kept the countdown going on X, posting "Tarantino. Out Oct 23." and, over the weekend, a simple "Friday… 🎶".

The twist: she told us on Fallon

Here's the fun part. LISA basically handed fans the answer back in September.

When she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Sept. 16, the full tracklist hadn't been announced yet. LISA admitted that track four was the next single and that it began with the letter T, Billboard reported. Billboard even guessed "Thailand perhaps?" Her answer was pure tease: "It's a surprise for my fans."

Track four, starting with T? Hello, "Tarantino." The Oct. 14 announcement finally solved the riddle.

She also explained the EP's whole concept on that couch. "This EP is about my journey from my roots to where I am right now today," she told Fallon, as quoted by Billboard. "There's a lot of Thai elements in the songs as well, in the EP. And every single song has their own character, their own vibe and we combine it together. It's like a movie. So you just press play."

A movie-themed EP with a single named after one of cinema's most famous directors? The concept was hiding in plain sight all along.

LLOUD on X: "Friday… 🎶"

A huge fall for LISA

Press Play lands in the middle of a big run. LISA won best pop at the 2026 VMAs, and her documentary Always Lalisa, about her first solo year apart from BLACKPINK, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September before arriving in theaters worldwide on Oct. 12, according to Billboard.

Next up is Las Vegas. She became the first K-pop artist to hold a Las Vegas residency with her VIVA LA LISA shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Billboard reported in September, and Hypebeast says the run begins in November. Billboard says she has since added two extra dates due to "incredible fan demand."

When can I listen?
