Boston fans get the honor of night one. NBC Boston notes Harris will hit 17 more cities across the U.S. and Canada after the TD Garden opener.

What to expect from the show
If his latest sets are any clue, bring your loudest singalong voice. At Head Trip, the one-time-only dance festival on the Coachella grounds in Indio, California, Harris pulled out "Feel So Close," "Sweet Nothing," "How Deep Is Your Love" and "We Found Love," songs Billboard says "will surely be part of the setlist" for the arena run.
He's arriving on a serious high. Live Nation says he played to more than 100,000 fans across two sold-out hometown shows at Glasgow's Hampden Park this summer, and earned a Guinness World Records title after a February set in São Paulo, Brazil, drew an estimated 1.6 million people, the largest attendance at a DJ set by a single artist. His catalog has more than 56 billion global streams, per Live Nation.

The twist: this is his first time headlining here
Here's the part that surprised a lot of fans. For all those era-defining hits, Calvin Harris has never headlined his own North American tour until now. Billboard says that while he "has played major venues and festivals across the country," this 18-date run "will be the first full headlining North American tour of his career."
Grimy Goods puts it best: "It's hard to believe an artist of Calvin Harris' size is only now headlining his first North American tour, nearly two decades after his 2007 debut album." The outlet points to one big reason he may have stayed put: the Las Vegas residencies he's been holding down since 2012. Live Nation says he still has upcoming performances in Las Vegas, too.
So the guy who has been the soundtrack to a million nights out is finally taking the party on the road, city by city. Pick your date, set your alarms and good luck in the queue.
