About Presley Gerber
Presley Walker Gerber was born on July 2, 1999, in Brentwood, Los Angeles, the first child of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, and big brother to Kaia Gerber, according to Wikipedia. He graduated from Malibu High School in 2017.
How he got his name
His parents said the name came from a dinner with record producer David Foster, who was then married to Linda Thompson, Elvis Presley's former girlfriend. Foster asked, "Can you imagine being me, having to follow Presley?" and the name stuck.
Modeling career
He started modeling at 15 after signing with IMG Models and made his runway debut for Moschino at 16. He walked for Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren, worked on campaigns for Calvin Klein, Celine and Omega, and appeared with his mom in a 2018 Pepsi Super Bowl ad. In 2017 he won the Reader's Choice Breakout Star men's category in Models.com's Model of the Year awards. He also appeared in Madison Beer's "Dead" music video (2017) and, with his dad, on the sports reality show The Wager (2024).
Speaking up about mental health
In 2023 he talked openly about depression on the Studio 22 podcast, saying, "whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place ... that's all I need to do." That year he also started an Instagram series called "Mental Health Mondays."
Remembered with love
Presley died on September 20, 2026, at 27. In October his family shared a tribute calling him "a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever," as reported by ABC News and Deadline. Read Presley Gerber remembered.
